Oregon road use tax rates change October 1, 2010

Oregon HUT Report

“The Oregon Highway Use Tax is based on both the miles traveled on Oregon highways and the weight of the vehicle.  ODOT requires an Oregon Weight receipt and an Oregon Tax identifier if your vehicle travels on Oregon highways and has a gross weight exceeding 26,000 lbs.  The Oregon Highway Use Tax must initially be filed monthly, but after 1 year you may apply to file quarterly.  When you purchase the Road Tax Upgrade of MyFuelTax you will have the capability of filing the Oregon Highway Use Tax (as well as New Mexico, Kentucky, and New York) using the miles already entered for your IFTA report.” http://www.myfleettools.com/Oregon_HUT.htm
